A new series highlighting the work of organizations who work to reduce inequality in New York City and beyond. An organization is a Change Maker if they serve one or more of the 12 disadvantaged populations in the Equality Indicators, or others who face inequalities in their daily life. Their work positively impacts these populations’ outcomes in the realms of Economy, Education, Health, Housing, Justice, or Services. Change Makers deliver on their promise to help those society has left behind. They believe the most vulnerable among us deserve an equal shot at improving their lives and work to help them do so.
