Alisa Orlowsky is a Communications Associate who works cross-functionally with ISLG’s diverse project teams to support communications efforts for ISLG. Her role includes contributing to editorial product development (e.g., reports, blogs, and design work), website management, social media and digital analytics strategy, and general communications support.
Before joining CUNY ISLG, she worked at the Patrick J. McGovern Foundation as a program manager for their data-driven accelerator program where she focused on communications, programmatic support, and led the design and execution of a webinar series. Prior to that, she shaped and implemented the communications and social media strategy for an international non-profit and student wellness center. She is currently pursuing a MS in Health Communication for Social Change at CUNY Graduate School of Public Health & Health Policy and holds a B.A. in Philosophy and minor in Chemistry from Santa Clara University. Her ideal weekend itinerary includes trying a new restaurant or bakery, going to yoga, and listening to live music.
