Bryn Hill is a Senior Research Associate who works on research and data capacity building efforts that support policymakers, practitioners, and communities across the country. Her role supports the use of research and data to address social policy challenges equitably, transforming cultures, and designing effective and innovative solutions to real-world problems. Before joining CUNY ISLG, she worked at the American Board of Internal Medicine as a Senior Manager for Innovation, implementing strategies to ensure examinations for medical certification better reflected day-to-day practice for physicians. Prior to that, she worked as an evaluation manager for the Camden Coalition of Healthcare Providers, managing research on innovative interventions for vulnerable populations, and as a senior research associate at the Center for Court Innovation focusing on reentry and tribal justice research. Bryn holds a B.A. in psychology and sociology from New York University, and an M.A. and Ph.D. in criminal justice from Rutgers University-Newark. When she isn’t at work, Bryn has a passion for fitness – she is a certified Level 1 Crossfit coach and owns a local Crossfit gym in Delaware – and enjoys hiking, kayaking, and other outdoor activities with her husband, 3 stepchildren, and dog.
