Dani Fuecker is a Policy Associate on the ISLG’s Operations team who conducts research and provides detailed analysis for projects pertaining to higher education operations, municipal finance, and budgetary policy.
Before joining CUNY, she worked for Hennepin County in Minnesota as a planning analyst with their property assessment department, analyzing and visualizing data and ensuring system-wide data accuracy for internal and external stakeholders. Prior to that, she worked for the City of Minneapolis analyzing rental housing policy and providing insights for better, data-supported, government functioning. As a policy consultant for the Association of Minnesota Counties before that, she conducted financial policy analysis and provided recommendations for Minnesota’s incoming funds won through the national opioids settlement.
She holds a MA in public policy from the University of Minnesota Humphrey School of Public Affairs, and a BA in psychology with a minor in criminal justice from the University of Wisconsin. She loves to try new restaurants and travel, and is seldom without a book in her bag
