Molly Dektar is a Senior Communications Associate at ISLG. She works across all projects on writing, editing, and design projects. Her key responsibilities include supporting the project teams on reports and briefs, developing and writing original public content to make ISLG's findings salient and accessible, and transforming ISLG's outputs for various audiences and platforms.

Prior to this role, Molly worked for a decade at the Jain Family Institute (JFI), where, as Editorial Director, she created the editorial and communications strategy; managed research outputs, branding, and website; and helped to create the political economy publication Phenomenal World. She received her A.B. in English from Harvard and her MFA in fiction from Brooklyn College. Outside of ISLG, she is always harrying herself to write fiction, and has published two novels, The Ash Family (Simon and Schuster, 2019) and The Absolutes (Mariner, 2023).
