Madeleine Doubet (she/her) is a Policy Associate at the CUNY Institute for State & Local Governance. Madeleine's work focuses on projects supporting survivors and ending gender-based violence in New York City, as well as other projects with the Mayor's Office of Criminal Justice.

Prior to working with CUNY ISLG, Madeleine worked at Columbia University, where she provided trauma-informed case management and advocacy services to students, faculty, and the larger New York City community impacted by gender-based violence. Previously, she managed a local sexual violence response center in New Jersey, where she oversaw their sexual violence crisis hotline, provided case management and advocacy to callers and clients, supervised the volunteer advocate program, and assisted with grant data and reporting.

Madeleine holds a Master in Social Work (MSW) from Rutgers University with a certificate in Interpersonal Violence and Trauma, and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work (BSW) from Rutgers University. Madeleine is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in New York and a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in New Jersey. In her free time, she loves reading, running, cooking, exploring local coffee shops, spending time with friends and family, being outdoors, and a compelling TV show.
