Nathalie Lebrón is a Senior Policy Associate at the CUNY ISLG, where she manages the institute’s community-based restorative justice program and the summer internship program. Her primary role centers on grant management, which involves working closely with community-based organizations to implement and expand restorative justice practices across New York City. She supports these organizations by monitoring their progress and uplifting their work. In addition, Nathalie leads ISLG’s summer internship program, ensuring that CUNY students gain meaningful internship experiences, networking opportunities, and mentorship. Beyond these initiatives, Nathalie also contributes to ISLG’s broader work with city government, focusing on advancing racial equity, and addressing unemployment. Prior to joining ISLG, Nathalie served as the Bushwick Coordinator at El Puente, where she worked with Latine youth and mixed-status immigrant families on youth education, immigrant rights, and participatory budgeting. Nathalie holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) from CUNY Hunter’s Silberman School of Social Work and is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). She earned her Bachelor of Science in Social Work (BSW) from CUNY Medgar Evers College. In her free time, Nathalie enjoys taking long walks with her dog, Blue, and binge-watching shows across various genres—especially anime.
