Osama Qureshi is a Senior Data Scientist at CUNY ISLG, where he leads the design and implementation of data infrastructure and machine learning solutions to advance criminal justice research and policy initiatives. Osama’s work bridges technical and research teams, focusing on internal data capacity building and developing solutions that meet the ever-evolving needs of the organization. Before joining ISLG, Osama developed assistive technologies for visually impaired communities and briefly worked in the autonomous vehicle industry. He holds an M.S. in Data Science from the CUNY Graduate Center and a B.S in Electrical Engineering. Outside of work, Osama is an avid history enthusiast who enjoys trekking through the Himalayas and going on unreasonably long road trips with his family.
