PRICE NYLAND

Price Nyland is a Policy Associate at the CUNY Institute for State and Local Governance supporting initiatives related to restorative justice, civic engagement, and tailored technical assistance for government and nonprofit partners. As part of her role, Price functions as a grant manager, collaborating closely with community-based organizations across New York City to implement and expand their restorative justice practices.

Prior to joining CUNY ISLG, Price spent six years at the Center for Policing Equity as an Impact and Engagement Manager, leading data-driven research projects across the country as law enforcement agencies, municipalities, and communities sought to redesign their public safety systems. She brings a background of agile project management, with experience in report writing, policy recommendations and implementation, as well as equity-focused community engagement. Price holds a B.A. in Religion and English from Bowdoin College. Outside of work, Price enjoys exploring New York with her friends, spending time in the park, and finding the best jukeboxes in the city.
