Sara Carrión is a Senior Policy Associate who has worked across ISLG’s teams, programs, and initiatives related to budget and fiscal reform, government operations, restorative justice, grassroots community investment, and capacity building support for community-based organizations. Her role has included program and grants management, project management, budget development and management, strategic planning, performance measurement, and policy research.
Prior to joining ISLG, Sara was a planning and development associate for a real estate development firm specializing in affordable and supportive housing projects. She also previously worked as a quality manager and director at a health and social services care management program where she conducted internal auditing, coordinated staff restructuring, and supported the development and implementation of new procedures. Sara holds a B.A. in International Relations from the University of Southern California and an M.S. in Public Policy from the NYU Wagner School of Public Service.
